Today we split up into three groups of six and went into the city and set up a table to promote health. We passed out flyers that we all made before the trip. They covered topics like HIV/AIDS, teen pregnancy, personal hygiene (this is the one I did), cholesterol, and glucose. We passed out tooth paste and brushes to the little kids as well as testing blood pressure and pulse on teens and adults.
Everything we did today was to help out the Cornerstone foundation which is nonprofit humanitarian organization!

Lunch today was at Ko-Ox Han-Nah which means lets go eat! I had a hamburger which was really great even though the meat did have a different flavor (I would say spices of some kind). That coke also quenched my thirst, I really needed the caffeine. I wish I could describe to y'all how amazing the food is here but I'm not good at things like that!
After lunch we went to the San Ignacio hotel and toured the iguana project! I was so scared to touch the iguanas, some would just jump at you and I was uneasy being in a cage with 42! I ended up having enough courage to hold them! One of the iguanas, Ziggy has a muscular disease and her spine is zig-zagged, it was kinda sad because she wasn't able to move around like the other iguanas. We were told Ziggy and another iguana (the very small one I'm kissing) will not be released into the wild because they would not be able to survive.
